Leaving for WDW June 13th. Any Advice?

This is my first trip to WDW since 1986. Does anyone have any good advice? There will be four of us (two kids 6 and 8) for seven nights.

Go to theme parks board and ask away. It will help if you have a specific question to ask.

My advice to you is don't forget you are on a vacation and have fun. I know so many people that feel like that have to see everything and find themselves panicked and exhausted and not really enjoying the beauty of everything.

Definitely utilize fast past. If the standby line is only 20 minutes don't get a fast pass. Get a fast pass for something yoiu have to wait on line for an hour or more. Get a pass and then wait on a lesser line for another ride. If after you are done with that ride and it is time for the fast pass you will go right on. If it is not time for the ride - wait on line for another one.

If you find yourself at the park at the end of the night. Don't rush out. I find the parks are so beautiful when they are emptying out. Take the time to walk around and really appreciate the atmosphere.

All great advice! If you have done your research on the DIS boards and looked into AllEarsNet.com and bought and thoroughly read Birnbaum's Guide to WDW....you are ready! At least that is how I feel. I AM ready and can't wait until July 2nd. I also rearranged my plans for our trip a little by not trying to see and do everything on this trip. Have to enjoy the surroundings and family. Will leave some for next time!
