I have been checking the weather for Las Vegas for next week & it looks like it will be in the 70's. I am only taking a carry on(staying 2 nights)& trying to decide if I need to pack shorts, pants or both. How are the evenings, do I need a jacket?

Thanks for any help!

The evenings will have temperatures down in the 50's. Keep in mind that the dry desert air tends to feel a bit cooler than the temperature indicates plus you've got the potential for wind. Most folks would want pants and at least a light jacket.

Just what I needed to know, Thank you!

It was very hot during the day when we were there 3 weeks ago, however we did need something with sleeves in the evening.

I hope you have a fantastic time and tell us all about it when you get back.

The weather here has been just about perfect lately. Warm during the day, but not hot. I'd say around 78-80 and cooling down in the evenings. Temps overnight can really drop down into the 50's but that's usually the low for the night.

A light sweater and long pants are nice for the evenings or if you are one who gets cold in air conditioning since just about every where you go will have the AC on.

Have fun!! :thumbsup2

Yes I do tend to get cold easily ::yes:: We only have 2 nights, so we are planning on doing a lot of walking to see what we can(have not been since 92) & hoping to see KA.

Glad to hear the weather has been good!
