And they FREAKED! DD8 got up and got ready for school. DD4 wandered to the dining room and saw her mouse ears and a cards addressed to the "Princesses" of the house.

DD4 ran to get DD8 and she came in already for school, looked at the ears, opened the card and read it out loud so her sister would know what it said....
She got to the bottom and looked at me. I said, what does it mean? She said....Um, that we are going some where? I said yeah...where...she said...real quietly....walt disney world? I said yes...and how are we getting there? She said...on a plane? I said yes....they looked at each other and FREAKED! LOL They were more subdued that I expected...but it was still cute. Now that it has sunk in they are wild...bouncing off the walls....talking about it.

HEHE. It was FUN! :rotfl2::cool1::cool1:

I got some pics and some video. Have to figure out the posting stuff later...gotta get to the airport soon!

and I am sure school is not the 1st thing on their minds right now.

I remember when we decided to surprise our girls 4yrs ago( our very 1st trip). I told my oldest (15at the time) the night before, she so did not believe me. We did not tell our youngest ( she was 5 at the time), we drove to FL and when we arrived the next morning the youngest was so shocked she could not speak. Oh but wait till the walk onto main st. & they see the castle, PRICELESS!!!

What a great surprise story!

I surprised my 2 youngest ds a couple of years ago; I let my oldest one in on the secret b/c I couldn't fool him. I got my boys all the way to the check in desk at the Contemporary, where I had the desk clerk tell them they were staying at Disney World. :lmao: We live in MI, & took a plane ride "b/c we've never done this before"... then we went on a bus ride to "look at Disney World - hey, let's go to this hotel; this is where the monorail goes through the building... yadda yadda yadda..." We had a great time & I hope you do too!

Wow, what awesome stories!

I've always been the Disney fanatic in my house, so I tend to surprise my parents with trips more than the other way around. Sometimes they don't like it right away, considering the full trip payment usually doesn't come from me, but once they get in front of the Castle, they're sold! Now that I'm old enough, I have my own AP, and I just went on my own or with friends these past few years. I surprised Mom with a weeklong trip this November for her birthday that I've been saving for since freshman year of college; it will be the family's first visit back since 2002. Looking forward to some magical moments! :wizard:

What a great story. I wish I could pull that off, but there's no way I could keep it a secret :goodvibes
