Congrats! They will walk you through every step, every bit of your wedding. From the rehearsal, to the ceremony, the music, who will walk down the aisle, the order, the seating arrangements at the ceremony, the exit. They will go over all the transportation. The reception, everything from food to favors, to music and of course cake. One thing I didn't realize, you will need to designate a responsible person to make sure certain things happen and that your coordinator can go to, for example we are bringing our own champagne glasses.. Disney will wash and box them up, and then give them to the B'maid we designated for safe keeping. She will also be responsible for our cake knife and stuff. Our planner actually wrote this in our BEO. So, basically, if you can think about your entire wedding, walk through the whole thing.. take notes on what you want, and don't want.. give them a list of what is really important to you.
Bring lots and lots of pictures of all your ideas, your dress, your bridesmaids dresses, centerpieces, cake, anything that can help them get an idea of what type of wedding you want, what kind of look you want, and if you can leave the pictures with them. Bring fabric samples for the floral dept if you can as well, so they can try to match to your colors. Our floral person really appreciated that we brought the pictures, it really helped her narrow down and give her a good idea of what we wanted, and she was thrilled when we said she could keep them.
If you haven't already, give your planner a list of the cake flavors you want to taste! .. and if you can have a good idea of what style cake you want, and what topper if any you want.
