Leaving for Disney Oct 25th--Want some advice about my discount!!

Ok....I went to Disney in Oct last year and my family and I have decided to return this Oct. I booked our trip on Friday Oct 6th. Here is the deal, I was told that there was a discount for check-ins Oct 3rd thru Dec23rd. So the CSR priced my trip staying at the POR and told me that I got a discount on the package with park hoppers and dining. But I also found out I have a special pin code next to my name that I can not use unitl Oct 10th. I have talked to several CSR's and each time I have gotten a different story. One even told me that my special discount code is for room only and that I can not use it until Oct 10th. Also that the discount I am getting now is better than the pin code I have. Someone please tell me if they have used a pin code that was next to their name in addition to a discount code already out there. Because if I can get an additional discount by calling back tomorrow then I will. It seems that every time I call I get a different story. Also I got a different price as well. I originally had a reservation held and I let it expire, I called back on fri and had them reprice it and it was $135 cheaper! I don't understand how the price can be so different when they are giving me the same package. Any help would be appreciated.

I asked for code ZDN but the guy booking the package actually used the other code (the one w/ the N in it).
I found this out when I called back to add that one to see what it would do.
The girl said thatwas the one applied to my package.
It saved an extra $135 for me too.
That was really nice of him.

If there is a pin code attached to your name, call back and see what it is. Also, have everything priced out so you will know what the difference is between a package and room only with tickets.

Not sure if you can add dining with a room only ressie.
