DH and I stayed in a BCV studio last month and loved it (testing it out for my parents and in-laws for trip this weekend). Now DH, DD15, DS10 and I will be in a 1BR and others in 2 studios. Some questions re: 1BR:
1. Is the fridge/freezer full size (the one in the studio was somewhere between dorm size and regular, about waist high on me and almost no freezer room for frozen meals -- just for a bunch of water bottles and 2 small ice cube trays)?

2. I think I read there is a DVD player in the LR. What about it in the BR?

3. Is there a water pitcher in the kitchen (to make a pitcher of iced tea)? -- there was not one in the studio and I am hoping there is one in the full kitchen

4. which floors are the laundry facilities on? (for the "GRANDS" in case they don't want to use our W/D)

5. Are there ice machines on every floor? (this would solve some of the "very small freezer" complications)

Thanks, guys! BTW, if I can help with any Studio issues, I'd be glad to.

1) It is a regular full size fridge. On the small side for a regular size, but definatly a full size fridge that will fit all of your stuff.

2) DVD is in LR only.

3) Yes, I boiled water in the tea kettle and then made ice tea in the pitcher on all 3 of my trips so far!

4) Laundry is on the 4th floor

5 Yes, ice machines are on every floor. You should also have an ice tray in your freezer that you can start making as soon as you get there.

Have a great time!

WOW!! All my questions answered in one try and all the "good" answers too! Thank you so much. This just makes it so much easier for planning the 1/2 hour shopping trip with the shuttle on the way from the airport. Both sets of "GRANDS" can buy some frozen meals and we can put them in our freezer for them.
Getting so psyched!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Your welcome. I didn't realize your leaving so soon. I just looked at your countdown. Have a great time. Give Art a salute for me!

I see you are doing a trip with Grandma and Grandpa too. I will let you know if we pick up on any good ideas. I think the BCV is the ideal location for doing this trip with a 71 yr old, 2 64 yr olds, and a 59 yr old, as well as our kids. The walk from our elevator in BCVs to the International Gateway was literally 5 minutes, and we were not walking fast. That is such a HUGE advantage of the location. And our kids are going to go nuts over SAB -- we were pretty wowed by it!
Thanks again for your help and have a great trip!

My parents love the BC area. We have stayed there before with them, but this will be thier first trip to their "home" BCV. (Both my parents and I have a seperate membership at the BCV but we have been "home" 3 times already). The last time we went to WDW with them, we stayed at the AKL. They hated it, they went to Cape May Cafe for breakfast 3 times just to visit the BC.

The best thing I can suggest is don't try to stay together all the time, let them go off on their own. The first time we went my mom didn't really get the importance of getting down mainstreet to fantasy land first thing and then shop the mainstreet shops later. She wanted to leisurely stroll down mainstret and stop in all the shops. It worked out really well to meet up somewhere later. We have cell phones and radios so we could meet up later!
