Leaving bags at bell services when I'm not a guest

We're staying at CSR 8/23-9/6, going home for the kids to start school, then coming back and staying at BWV 9/14-9/18. Is it possible to check a bag or 2 at BWV before we leave? It would be so much easier since we're only home for less then a week. This way we can just travel with carry on bags.

No. :confused3

People have told me they've done it that's why I'm asking. I was surprised so I figured I'd confirm here.

Even if it were okay, I'd honestly be worried about some mix-up and the property being disposed of as abandoned.

I agree with this. Not luggage, but I had Amazon Prime Now delivered to BWI and they misplaced that. I've been fine with leaving luggage while going to the parks for the day, but no way would I leave luggage there for a week and expect it to be there when I got back.

I have heard several examples of this when people have stayed a night or two at a WDW resort before a DCL cruise and then returned to WDW after (not necessarily to the same hotel). It can't hurt to ask.

It might be worth calling Owners Lockers to see if they'll do a one-time locker rental.

Owners Locker does not rent "Lockers". The service provides large, purple storage containers that are stored in their climate controlled warehouse. Each container is of a specific size and dimension. They would be stack able etc. I would be very surprised if they had facilities for luggage, or would accept that responsibility.

I have a different question on this topic. Will Bell Services refrigerate something if I'm not a guest but have a dining reservation? One of our kids has a medication that must be kept refrigerated. We will be doing a split stay with a dining reservation at the CR on the day we switch resorts (Pop to AKL). I don't want to have to leave the medication at Pop, go to the CR for brunch, and then have to go back to the Pop to get the medication moved over to AKL. Usually we don't throw a dining reservation in between the two. We go directly from one to the other, and Bell Services at the second resort refrigerates for us until our room is ready. We need access to this at all times so cannot leave it in our luggage for a resort to resort luggage transfer.

I can't confirm but I strongly suspect that they would, given the fact that it's a medical necessity. They definitely have the capability to refrigerate items, since they do it for guests with grocery deliveries. You also are an on-site guest, albeit at a different hotel, but still a Disney resort guest.

In response to the OP, I agree with the others. You MAY be able to talk to a Bell Captain and work something out with the luggage storage. Depending on the time of year, they may have the capacity and since they work for tips, they may want to help you out with that. I'm just speaking from my own experience working alongside Bell Services in the past at a non-Disney hotel. It would be very easy for a supervisor to make that call and tuck your luggage in a corner of the room, leaving a note on your claim tag regarding it. BUT I also agree that since it would not be typical, I would also be nervous about them misplacing your luggage or someone moving it and then it will just create a bigger hassle for you.

Agree it's not a typical request. If I did it I'd note the bell hop's name and leave them a fat tip.

Have you considered a Frio wallet? It's marketed for insulin, but even if the child's medicine isn't that, it should still work.

This way, it's literally with you at all times - not thirteen or so floors away.
Thanks for the suggestion. We have one of these and use it for travel on the airplane. I just feel better using an actual refrigerator when it's possible. I suppose it wouldn't hurt asking if they could refrigerate for us during our dining reservation but keep it in the Frio if they can't. It's way better than keeping it at Pop and going back there before moving to AKL!
