Leaving April 5 and not good to go email today

We have been cruising with DCL since 2005 and this is the first time ever we have had a problem. We use BC/DL and for some reason this time the online check in doesn’t like my DH BC. I am all good to go. We also reuse head shots and those are fine also.
So when DH gets home tonight we will resubmit. I called and asked some questions and if I am still pending review 5 days before to call DCL and someone would manually check the submission of his BC. I thought this was always checked by a human and this is why it takes so long to review documents. Any insight with this issue??
First time ever freaking out about this, I’m suppose to be excited.
I would love for them to go back to the old days of check in at the port.

I thought it could also be corrected at the Port if necessary.

I thought it could be taken care of at the port also, but whoever I talked with didn’t act like it could be done. She was more concerned I was a US citizen, had a non expired DL, etc. This is not my first cruise so I know what I have to have to travel.

We leave in two days, and this past weekend I got an email that we needed to resubmit 3 our of our 4 passport photos. The pictures weren't the greatest because I had taken them with one hand while using the other hand to hold open the passport. I retook and resubmitted them and it was cleared a few hours later. It didn't seem like a big deal or anything to worry about.

I like having check in done ahead of time, it's less to have to do/stand in line for once we get to port (though I could certainly do away with the midnight Eastern time frame and spinning wheel of death!).

Yes, a human always checks all documents submitted-that's why it takes some time sometimes to get the 'good to go' email. I bet what the CM was saying was that you could call 5 days ahead of time to 'prompt' someone to look at your DH BC while you're on the phone.

Don't freak out. I've had to resubmit my passport a couple of times (one time three times for the same sailing, and it was the same photo that got approved on the first try for the previous sailing!). It'll go through ahead of time, you can call them 5 days out, or you can take care of it at port as a last resort. As long as all of your documents are legit and up to date, you'll be able to sail. It's nothing to stress over.

Thanks for that info, I’m sure I am just over reacting. After talking with DCL she made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing. I hope it’s just something simple because it’s the same picture of BC we always use since we have had to do this online check in stuff.

Thanks for that info, I’m starting to calm down. I guess I was just surprised this happened so close to the cruise as this has never happened to us before.

My husband's photo wasn't accepted. They just took a new one at check-in at the port.

We're on the Apr 4 Fantasy cruise. I just received my good to go email yesterday and so did my dad. My sister's was still pending so she called this morning and they were able to process everything for her. My sister and I both needed to resubmit new pictures of our kids' birth certificates.

We got the email on Thursday, resubmitted that night. DD and her husband got their email on Friday, they are all good.
Hopefully it will be cleared before I have to call tomorrow.

UPDATE I called this morning like DCL told me to, they just went over all the information we submitted. I told them the only issue we were having was DH BC. They did not take care of the situation while I was on the phone. DCL said it should be approved later today, if it’s still pending to call back about 4pm.
Frustrating to say the least, I guess my 20 years of good luck ran out.
