So I am trying to verify. If we have a park reservation, enter the park in the morning, can we re-enter the park later that night for sure? Or will we run in to capacity restrictions or something and be rejected entry?

With park reservations, you should always be allowed back in. They don't seem to get anywhere close to actual capacity these days. The trouble you might have is transportation. I know they limit the transportation when parks hit capacity.

I assume you are basing your comment on this:

“Although the Parks are crowded, the Parks are still operating under a reduced capacity. At the time of publication, we still have yet to hear an exact number when it comes to Park capacity, but that last confirmed number was 35%, which was released in early 2021. It is clear that the capacity level is much more than 35% due to the current crowd levels at the theme parks, which some Guests are actually complaining about.”

I don’t read that as saying that “They don't seem to get anywhere close to actual capacity these days.”

Since reopening from COVID in July 2020, for re-entry and/or Park Hopping, not a single person has been denied entry to any park except for a few hours at MK on October 1, 2021.

I’ve wondered about that and I’m curious what you base that on.
I can't answer for the person you quoted but I can tell you that I can base it on the fact that aside for an extremely short period of time at MK on 10/1, no one has ever been denied entry at any park at any time since parks reopened. That enough to tell you they aren't reaching capacity?

Not to mention, even before they closed for Covid, they had not closed. park for capacity limits in nearly a decade. Even on the most crowded days of the year, July 4, December 25, 31. The most they had were a stoppage of single day walk up ticket sales for MK. Seeing how Disney will not give out their max capacity figures it's all speculation but it is thought that the parks are of a size that they will no longer reach a level of closure now. When MK added the space of New Fantasy Land they increased space in MK by enough that capacity is no longer an issue. Epcot has always had enough space. HS and AK haven't had an issue either.

So bottom line is, it's a non issue.

Disneys park reservation policy states that you can leave and re-enter your reserved park multiple times that day. If they implement any kind of restriction, it will be to stop hopping to that park.
