Have you ever left a rental car overnight in a disney park parking lot?

If I drive a rental to a park, get hammered drinking my way around the world, then take the bus home, will my car be where I left it the next day when I return for it?

Yeah, but why not just take the bus to begin with so you're not tempted to drive when you shouldn't?

So I can get to the booze sooner silly :3dglasses.

I never get behind the wheel after 1 drink, so there is no temptation :goodvibes.

How about a few days if I go on a real bender? How many days till they tow it?

They will tow it. You are better off using disney transport. Is the 5 minutes you might save worth the hassle if they do?

I wouldn't leave it longer than 1 night. And I would be back fairly early the next day to get it.

I'm not sure where you're staying, but driving to Epcot probably won't save you much time - 10 minutes max. I really would just take the bus.

I think I've heard before that security will note all cars left overnight in the lot.

While they say no overnight parking is allowed, they will usually let a car stay put at least 1 night (due in part to the earlier mentioned potential for not being in the position to legally drive after a day at the park), but if a car is in the same lot/spot after 2 nights it's much more likely to end up getting towed.

Since you are staying onsite, I wouldn't really worry too much about leaving the car in the lot 1 night (I'd suggest leaving your resort parking pass on the dash so security can see it if there is a question), but I wouldn't leave it any longer then that.

I hate Disney transportation with a passion, BUT if I am going to drink I always take the bus. It is a no brainer to me. Then I literally have nothing to worry about. I would just take the bus.

If I still remember the section and row number of where I parked at the end of the day, I take that as having passed a field sobriety test and assume I'm ok to drive. If I happen to get lucky and find my car despite spending the day drinking, I'm probably still ok because I'll just blend in with all the tourists swerving and changing lanes all over the place because they don't have a clue where they're going. :)

I sincerely hope you are joking.

Did the food and wine festival yesterday. Had a...Frozen Dragon Berry Colada, Xante Sunshine, Selbach JH Riesling QbA, Belvedere Strawberry Balsamic Chiller, Grey Goose Lemonade, Royale Mimosa, Bunratty Meade Honey Wine, Neige Premiere and then went back for another Frozen Dragon Berry Colada. Found my car easily. Probably was ok because given the portions they serve, I drank the equivalent of 2 or 3 beers over a 10 hour day. ;)

Ummm... you know there's FOOD at the Food and Wine Festival, right? ;):goodvibes

Seriously... some of those drinks come in about a 3oz size, some of them more, but you were there for 10 hours- no biggie. It's interesting... we drank WAY more than we ever do in the parks, but I didn't have anything that you did! I did have a grand marnier slushie, raspberry wine, hoegharten beer, beer flight in Germany (shared), Braufractum roog (shared), margarita (shared) , jim beam lemonade, and a coconut mojito! We were there from 1pm-9:30 pm so I was fine to drive, too. (:3dglasses Besides.. I wear my sunglasses at night so the ossifer can't see my red eyes :3dglasses YES I AM JOKING.)
