Leave for TN and FL in 2 1/2 weeks and now my basement is FLOODED!

I have the end of year books to do for our 2 businesses and have to pack, get the cats to the vet, etc etc....now I have to go through years of boxes and deal with contractors, adjustors, clean up.....ARRggggggg!!!

Actually, we are bringing my mom to MVMCP on Dec 6. It's our only Disney day before we fly home...We are also at Sea World Dec 5th and some DTD shopping on the night of the 4th.

Any chance you are going to the x-mas party? It was so much fun when we saw you there.....

It's worse than we thought. They had to pull up my ceramic tile in the landing, and hall as well as the wood floor in the craft room. They had to pull up all the subfloor and take away 4 feet or drywall all over the 2 rooms.


They have to take apart 3 closets and while they were doing all that they found a leak in my foundation....The foundation had nothing to do with the flood but will become a problem later on so thhey can't fix anything until I DIG UP SIDES OF MY HOUSE, lay new weeping tile and have the foundation sprayed with rubber membrane....


I am soo tired......and we leave in 2 weeks.

I will be there at WDW on the 5th, Sam, but was not planning on a MVMCP this year. Any chance of seeing you elsewhere?

So right...That happpened to my Mom and Dad when they got back from SC for their golfing week, they had 3 feet of water in their basement.


Thanks for listening...It helps.

I jhave to keep in mind that it's a 35 year old house and it will have some problems but at least now my basement will be really good.
It's not worth stressing too much about.
