Where would I find the least expensive sposy cameras for the boys? I thought I might try letting them take their own photos and see what we end up with.

As a second suggestion, I do have an older digital camera that I don't use myself anymore. Maybe it would be better to let them use that?

I've actually seen disposables at .99 cent Only stores and at Dollar Tree. I don't know what kind of picture quality you'd get, but might be good enough for kids.

I'd let them use the old digital. Bad thing with the disposible is you have to pay the processing/printing even if the whole roll is duds. Digital=print what comes out :thumbsup2

my best friend just got married and bought 6 of the target $1.00 camera's.. none of the pics turned out.. you get what you pay for.

I've seen disposable Kodak cameras at Sam's Club, but I haven't looked lately so I don't know if they still carry them. I believe they sold 3-packs for about $12. Don't make a special trip there in case I'm wrong, but if you happen to be there anyway, you might want to look.

I actually just bought a few on clearance at Target for $2.16. They are Kodak and were in the Electronics clearance section.

We have a small store in the town I live, it was a drug store, now just a convenience store since CVS moved to town... Anyways they sell disposable for $.88, we bought 5 of them so DS could have a camera everyday he was down there and surprisingly the pics turned out really well.... The store is called Gablers not sure if it is a chain or just a local deal, I would be more than happy to get some and ship them to you though.

Hmmm, I wasn't thinking about the processing costs, but I'm unsure about letting the boys wreck the old camera on water rides, kwim? Plus, I only have one camera and two boys. That's not a good thing...

I just checked the Sam's website - 6 kodak cameras for $16.xx incl tax. I plan to buy snacks there before we leave (slim jims and pb crackers and such), so I will check them out the week before we go and make my decision.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Aldi's has good disposable cameras for about $3 each. We hae given them to the kids in the past and they came out great.

However, since you have an old digital, I would give them that.

most places like walgreen will process the prints and then you only pay for the one that come out good.
i did this we DS - i didnt pay for the ones of the ground or his finger. i always let my boys take camaras - its fun to see disney through their eyes
