Leaders Cup 14-16 Feb @disney paris

Hi all,

Just seen on insidedlparis Facebook site, that a big tent has been put up for the leaders cup on dates 14-16 th february! I think it's a basketball competition.

Does anyone know if this will result in the parks being even more busy?
Has anyone been when an event has been on?

I know it's the Uk & Paris hols then so am expecting it to be busy anyway!

The National Basketball League are expecting 45,000 spectators for the tournament. It's the second year that DLP has hosted the tournament in the Disney Events Arena in the Disney Village.

Here are the times of the games:

Friday, February 14 ( Quarterfinals ) : 13h, 15h30, 18h, 20h30
Saturday, February 15 ( semi-finals ) : 16h, 18h30
Sunday, February 16 (Finale) : 17h

Some of the ticket packages available for the tournament include park tickets so the parks might be busy in the morning before the games start in the afternoon. Also expect the hotels to be busy at breakfast time as there are some special accommodation deals available for the basketball fans.

I would suggest that you make restaurant reservations in advance for that weekend, especially if you plan on eating in the Village or the hotels in the evening.
