[Get me to Disney!]

I was so excited about getting this one based on the menu, etc. Then, my friend gave me a Passporter book and the menu sounds not so good. I am changing my mind.

Do not change it, this place has fantastic food. Even better you really feel like you are in Paris. The shrimp and scallops are amazing!!

sorry to hijack your thread op flower3 but for those of you who have eaten there with kids, what did you find that they enjoy? We are eating there for lunch in about a week banana for the first time. We are really going to see Remy (as a surprise to our kids who are 6 & 7)...but I am not sure about the kids menu? Are the burgers on the menu kid friendly?

I am probably in the minority, but I actually didn't think the food was that great. DGF had the salmon and it was plain and overcooked. The beef spare ribs weren't too bad. Service was a little below average. Nothing on the menu really excited me.

I thought Le Cellier was much better.

We loved it and Remy and his handler are adorable! My husband says it was the best ham and cheese sandwich (croque monsieur) he had ever had in his life. My DD really liked the chicken strips over pasta on the kids menu.

We LOVED this last year and is on our agenda for this year. DDs both had the pasta and chicken...basically spaghetti with sauce on the side, and chicken nuggets. The onion soup is SO good. I had the baked mac and cheese which was fabulous. DH had some type of seafood..I forget, scallops maybe? He really liked that as well. Oh, and the desserts...DD4 ate my whole creme brulee. I would definitely still try it.

I wouldn't worry too much about Chef's, the food is great the service quick. We have never waited very log once we have checked in either. We have gone now for the past 3 years and looking forward to it again in August.

As for kids my DS 8 has always polished off the chicken fingers and pasta from the kids menu. It is a pretty big portion and they put the sauce on the sideif you ask. He loves plain pasta so this works out real well. Unfortunately I cannot comment about anything else on the kids menu there as he has been ordering this EVERY time.
