We had a 4:10 Candlelight Dinner package ADR for me, DH, and 2 DS (age 2). Love the atmosphere of this restaurant which is very romantic but still loud enough to cover the sounds of small children, which is why we felt comfortable here with our toddlers. Our waiter was very nice and provided great service. As part of the package we were allowed an appetizer, entree and dessert. DH chose salad, short ribs with pasta, and pastry puffs with ice cream for dessert; I ordered the escargots (based on the waiter's recommendation), the beef tenderloin, and creme brulee for dessert. We had fed the kids earlier so we didn't order for them, knowing they wouldn't eat. One of them enjoyed the bread and butter and the other one was so tired he slept through most of the meal - at times in DH's arms. I enjoyed the escargot and was glad I tried it; I was surprised that the sauce was a green pesto-like sauce. I was expecting a cream based sauce I guess. The sauce was earthy and garlicky and I liked the dish overall. I liked my entree very much - the steak was delicious along with the sides of au gratin potatoes and crisp green beans; my only criticism was the sauce was a bit watery. One of my DS helped me polish off the dessert which was creamy goodness. DH enjoyed his meal as well; his short ribs entree was very tender but he didn't touch the pasta that came with it - it was just fettucine noodles as far as I could tell. Overall, a good experience, we would probably return - I could honestly have made a meal of the escargots with the crispy french rolls and I would have been happy.
