We are having our dinner at Le Cellier in Canada the day we are in Epcot. One of my 3 daughters is right at the cut off between child and adult. How small is a childs meal? She would probably have Prime Rib and French Fries.

At Disney, there is NO cut-off between a child and adult.

I order the child's plate at 50's Prime Time all the time, and no-one looks funny at me when I do it!!

All of the children's plates are nice sized, and if you go over to www.wdwig.com and look in the MENUS area, you'll find all sorts of childrens and adults menus!

And if she wants an adult menu item that you wouldn't mind sharing, you can do a split entree meal. DH and I do this all the time, because the portions are so big.
Or we'll do a salad and appetizer meal (we usually do this at Rose and Crown).

I hope that this helps with your decisions!

Our kids had pasta for lunch at LeCellier. Our second son is was 11 (3 months before he turned 12). It was plenty for him, along with the breadsticks.

This dinner is part of the Candlelight procession pkg. So it is prepaid and I was wondering if a child portion of ribs would be enough. She is 11 and the pkg prices are Adults - $39.99 / Child (3-11) - $10.95 . We bought the child but was wondering how much food it was and if it would be enough?

Are ribs even a choice for the childs meal? If so, and its not enough. I'm sure you will have left over food from your meal so you could share with her. Gosh, I know I'm not going to be able to eat all that food. I get full just from the salad and appetizer. I'll be having them wrap up most of my dinner and dessert for later.

The kids menu portions are large. My kids had the hamburger at lunch and I don't think either of them finished it.

I Agree ... The children meals were too much for my 7yo Nieces during their last trip. We ended up ordering 1 meal between 2 by mid-holiday.

Our dinner at Le Cellier was our favorite. Everything was wonderful, including the bread (pretzel breadsticks, particularly, dipped in the cheddar cheese soup!).

My son had the Kids steak and fries. It was a decent size, and he didn't finish. He's 9 yrs. old. My 13 and 11 yr. olds had the Kids pastas and had plenty left over. My husband and I had the filet mignon and it was the best!! It melted in your mouth! We also had the creme broule for dessert -- oh my -- this was incredible!!!

My son had the Kid's chocolate mousse -- it actually looks like a moose, with Maple leaf cookie ears. Very cute! A real pleasant experience! Enjoy.
