Le Cellier to go?

Disney table service restaurants don't do carryout. They are not set up to accommodate carryout orders at all. If you were allowed to, consider it a bonus because the cast members were not too busy with restaurant patrons to be accommodating. But I would not go there counting on being able to carry out even something small like soup or bread.

TDC Nala is right, they aren't set up for it.

I would guess on any given night they could dip a ladle into the soup and pour a bowl to go, but if the lines at F&W for the soup are any indication...it wouldn't be one bowl per night for long if they started offering this consistently.

The more I think about this the more I think we need to be careful to make it a norm that we go and ask for carryout, being prepared to be turned down. Even saying "no" takes time and it could really start adding a lot of traffic to the podium area and slow things down a bit for those checking in with their ADRs if they're getting a few dozen requests each night.

I wonder if they ever considered opening a seperate snack stand in Canada serving cheddar cheese soup, pretzel bread and perhaps a dessert. It seems this pavilion is lacking in the non-TS food area. It would certainly make money. Maybe they are worried that people wouldn't bother with LC?

My friend got a cup of the cheese soup to go at Le Cellier back in March of 2007 - sounds like they no longer offer to go....or wonder if it depends on the time of year.

A snack stand in the Canada Pavilion would be great!
