Just got back and wanted to make a couple of observations - it isnt just O'Hana that is going through a menu makeover. Rose and Crown removed the Steak and Prawns, its now Steak and Fish. It was just ok - the fish was pretty good but the steak was tough, and we thought that the price was a bit high for what you received. also the prawn coctail is more like a seafood salad, with tiny shrimp in something like a cole slaw type sauce. Not what we expected from the description.
Le Cellier also just changed their menu, as of Monday according to our server. They still have the cheese soup but also have a new shrimp appetizer which was really good. The tenderloin with mushrooms has been changed. The meat is still really good, but it is prepared a bit differently than it used to be. Hardly any mushrooms at all, we ordered more. All in all, Le Cellier used to be a favorite but not so much this time.
Artists Point was wonderful from appetizer to dessert. The buffalo spring rolls were awesome, and so were the mussels. We asked to do a combination of the tenderloin and the scallop entree which they accomdated. Dessert was the coffee two ways and even DH who isnt a dessert fan ate some.
The best of all was the Cali Grill. We had a table for two by the window, had a perfect view for wishes. The food was totally great, as was the service. We love the tenderloin, the flatbreads, the goat cheese ravioli, everything was wonderful.
Happy Eating!
