I am trying to start planning my ADRs for our December trip to WDW. Which one would you recommend would be better with a 3.5 year old? Le Cellier possibly has the better child's option for my son, who eats steak multiple times a week. However, Chefs does have what appears to be a hamburger, and from what I have read, appears to be more family friendly than Le Cellier. Thank you in advance for any advice you might provide!

I've taken kids ranging in age from 14 months to 5 years to both and never had a problem. They are kids who are very accustomed to eating out, but as prone to off days as any other kids. Le Cellier even accommodated a stroller for me on our last trip and that was way above and beyond what I could have expected. Obviously, depends on the kid etc ... But I'd choose whichever the adults would enjoy more, I think they are both equally kid friendly.

We ate at both Chef's de France and Le Cellier on our trip 2 weeks ago. My boys are 4 and 23 months old. Both were fine for kids, IMO. My boys are used to eating out and are well-behaved in restaurants (knock on wood.) Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to take them to any Disney restaurant.

Both places are great for kids and I have eaten at both. The only difference is obviously the food styles and that at Chefs kids will have a chance to see Remy ( very cute btw) but if you do Chefs I recommend going at lunch since I read that dinner is not so wonderful. I went at lunch and it was delicious:goodvibes

Chef's is a little more kinetic, and so possibly a tad bit more kid-friendly. I would be more likely to take my own kids to Chef's than Cellier, but could go to either.

Ok I have to tell you that when DS was 4 he proclaimed the Burger at Chefs the best burger in the world & he meant planet.:lmao: And to this day when at Epcot he wants to eat at Chef de France.

It may be. But I can guarantee you that you will not find a bistro anywhere in Actual Paris that serves a Steak haché Angus.

Chefs de France was one of our favorite meals on our last trip! Yummy! As I remember the kids menu was more than just chicken fingers. We will return to "Chefs" next trip, although we have yet to try Le Cellier. I bet either one would be wonderful.

Thank you for all of the wonderful responses! It sounds like we cannot go wrong either way.

When we went to Chefs with our kid 15 months 7 and 9. They are picky eaters. The hamburgers are served on a crusty bun not a regular hamburger bun. MY oldes went with a salad, but didn't like the dressing or some of the lettuce.

We didn't eat at le cellier, but I know for sure the canadian hamburgers would be served with normal buns.

We were lucky enough to see Remy at dinner though.

I think Chefs de France has a leg up on Le Cellier for kids. It's bright. You can see out the windows, and if you schedule your ADR at the right time, you can see Remy from Ratatouille. There is also a "street" show directly out the front window that is mesmerizing for the kids. Stacking chairs very high and standing on top of them. Just ask to be seated in the front section instead of the side.

We took our 3 kids(22 mos/5yo/7yo) to Le Cellier and it was fine but late and they all had about had it that day. I think they would have enjoyed Le Chefs much better and would have been more entertained than grumpy in the very dark LC. Their steak was way overdone and livery.

We have taken my 4 year old son to Le Cellier on 3 occasions over the last year and he has been pretty much terrible each time. He is generally fairly well behaved (although he has his moments!) He has been fine on the days we go both before and after the meal so I guess it is the fact that it's dark. I love lunch there but likely won't go again soon because of his behavior. We have an ADR for Chefs in June - never eaten there - and have our fingers crossed!
