Just back, and apologies in advance...no pictures.

First, let me say we have rarely dined at TS restaurants in the past, so we went into this open- minded. We have the "free" dining plan, something we always wanted to try. One other point, for us it's not ALL about the food. We are at WDW after all, so we're looking for a little magic, some theming, etc. Here's where we dined:

OHana- Didn't help that we read negative reviews right before we left, but decided to keep the ADR. We enjoyed the meal. Fun dining area with all the entertainment going on. Enjoyed the lounge beforehand, I had a yummy tropical drink, DH enjoyed a couple Konas.

Really enjoyed the bread and salad. Looks like some here don't like it, since they have apparently changed it- but this was our first time so nothing to compare it to. I thought it was very good. Wings were just ok. Pot stickers were really good. Noodles and broccoli, well, it's noodles and broccoli. Shrimp, chicken, and steak were all good. NOT under-cooked at all. Bread pudding, 'nuff said. All in all it was a very good meal, would probably go back.

LeCellier- Since this counted as two meals, we did have higher expectations here, and they were met. We both had filet, mine was a perfect medium, DH was a perfect medium-rare. Nicely charred, and both of us really loved it. Beer cheese soup and the breads were outstanding. Would definitely go back there. (And we have been to some of the big name steak houses in TX, Chicago, KC....steaks at LeCellier were every bit as good- at least the filets were.)

Boma- We were really excited about this dinner. Unfortunately, we just didn't enjoy it. No idea how authentic the African dishes were, but neither one of us liked any of them. It's not that they were horrible, but there's no way we would ever order any of those items. Maybe people just like to say how good it is just because it's different? I don't know, but neither one of us are picky eaters. The food was just bland. They had a carving station with beef, but only had rare. Chef said we could wait, but a line was gathering so we moved on. They had cubes of pork shoulder that was disgusting.

With all that said, the soups were outstanding. Seafood/corn chowder, Oxtail soup, and a coconut curry seafood soup (can't remember the name.) DH had at least 3 bowls of soup! Desserts were also very good. I wouldn't want to go there again. If we had to (going with other family members who want to go there, etc.) I would have soups, salad, breads, and desserts- still a good meal.

Biergarten- Really good, and best atmosphere. The schnitzel and sauce was really delicious, star of the show. Some of the other dishes were really good too. Would definitely go back there. Good beer too ; )

Ragland Road- Again, fun atmosphere to have dinner. Had the beer flight, the food was ok- nothing to write home about. DH had bangers and mash. I had a pot of shrimp, mussels, potato chunks and corn. Both were fine, don't get me wrong. Maybe we should have ordered something else, wouldn't rush to go back here.

BOG- Had breakfast here, and it was really good. Florentine and the "bacon and egg sandwich" or whatever they call it. Very filling when you add the side of pastry, we had a hard time having to eat lunch later....but we managed ; )

All in all, we enjoyed the DP. We got to experience a lot of different types of venues and food, had dessert every time which we would never normally do.

As for QS, still amazed at the limited offerings at MK and HS. But we always found a QS lunch that was fine, have been there enough times to know what we were getting.

Great reviews, you dined at some of our favorites for sure! I agree the QS at MK and DHS is very lacking. I am so happy we have a BOG lunch next week for our upcoming trip. That is one QS I love :goodvibes

Forgot to mention this. Fascinating social experiment to watch people try to order Dole Whips at the former location. Some people just walked away, others just ordered the orange one they have, others asked about it and went over to the new stand.

We were thinking Disney should post a sign there or something with all the confusion, but then we agreed if people are too afraid to ask where they can find a Dole Whip, they don't deserve one. ;)

Good to hear that LeCellier is still good. We have not been there since they changed the menu several years ago and I am considering it for our next trip. I agree with Raglan Road, tried it twice and for me it does not live up to the hype.

I really enjoyed your reviews! Good to hear the LC filet is as good as it ever was. It was our favorite steak on Disney property, mostly because we really liked the sauce. Not sure if we would return now that it is 2 TS...but we have eaten there twice and really enjoyed both meals.

Yea, we actually needed a TS that used 2 credits. Long story, but had extra QS from first day, so next day we used 2 QS at MK...which meant an extra TS credit we used for LC. Looking back, can't believe we figured all that out!

LOL - juggling credits is practically a full time job! I am an optimizer...gotta have the absolute best bang for my buck, so I spent forever juggling those credits around :) Love the dining plan (only if it's free) since 4 ppl happy staying in the Values.

This makes me feel better about Ohana, since I just got a reservation after trying for months! I was debating on cancelling. This trip we are also trying BOG lunch and breakfast, so I am excited to try both.

I love Ohana and everything ..our waiter told us to not fill up on the bread and salad...he said ..wait for the main food...loved it all...Also Le Cellier was delicious as usual too..thanks for your reviews...I can almost taste the bread pudding
