...are you talking about the chocolate 'moose'??

I was just checking this out myself and I'm extremely disappointed. I have Le Cellier booked for the 5 p.m. Candlelight Processional which means we will have to eat off the lunch menu. I don't see any desserts at all and I thought the package included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. This is certainly not a good value at $41.99 per person. :sad2:

I don't know what I'm going to do now.

Sorry puddings=desserts. I was so overcome at the thought of no desserts at all that I forgot to translate from English to American;) Please someone tell me that the menu just missed off the sweet stuff. DBf is not pleased either that somewhere known for its steaks now has only 2 out of 5 entrees of the red stuff:sad2: Anyone just been and can gladden our hearts with a dessert sighting?

I'm sure LeCellier still has desserts. It's probably on a separate menu which allears didn't include. I wouldn't worry about it.

Oh I hope so...They shouldn't toy with peoples feelings like this:rotfl2:

The desserts are, as someone else said, probably on a seperate menu that didn't get included in the Allears update. Say what you will about the Disney menu changes, they've never shown any indication that they'd remove an entire course from a restaurant!

It is important to remember that the sites where we read the menus are unofficial, and while a lot of people do a lot of good work to make those menus available, occassionally mistakes or omissions do happen. Remember the sushi-and-cheese-plate threads about California Grill? WDWinfo had all the sushi and the cheese plate listed under entrees on the updated menu. They're still appetizers, but that mistake on the online menu caused quite a stir here on the DIS!

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to everyone for keeping my spirits up during this traumatic time (Can you guess what my favorite part of a meal is?:) ) I had already told DBf that I would have the choccie moose and he would have the creme brulee cos I like that too!

We ate at Le Cellier for lunch on Oct. 3 last week. I can assure you desserts are still available and wonderful! In fact, the Chocolate Whiskey Cake was the best dessert I had the entire week! It was wonderfully moist and rich. My DH did the creme brulee and DD did the Choc Moose.

As for other changes, there are some items missing from the entrees, but a new addition that I had was really yummo - heirloom squash ravioli! It was really good. For appetizers - both DD and DH had the chicken chipotle sausage and really liked it. (It was spicy though) I of course had to go with the soup! Is it wrong to lick the bowl?

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Pam

I'm hearing strains of Pink Floyd in the background "If you can't eat your meat you can't have any pudding". Which just seems so strange with LeCellier being a steakhouse and all. ;)

That said, I can't imagine a restaurant not having any desserts. That makes no sense at all.

I feel silly now to be panicking about the lack of desserts on the new online menus. Thanks to everyone for being upbeat and reassuring about it.
