We aren't on the DDP so everything is cash, out of pocket.

Is there a significant difference in the quality of Le Cellier at lunch versus dinner? We're going in December and I have scored reservations for both lunch and dinner. I think I'd rather do lunch to save a little money but not if we're going to be disappointed by the experience.

Crew is me, DH and a 5 year old. 5 year old is likely to order mussels rather than off the children's menu.

Not much of a food difference -- check out the menus for both. Can be pretty hit or miss lately..

The menus are different between lunch and dinner, so you should look at both and see which appeals to you more.

If your 5 year old has his/her heart set on the mussels, then you'll need to go for lunch because they are not on the dinner menu.

I've had the filet mignon at both lunch and dinner. The dinner filet is bigger (8 oz) and uses Canadian beef. The lunch filet is smaller (5 oz, I think) and uses non-Canadian beef (I've read it's Australian, but I don't know for sure). Both times the filet tasted excellent.

In terms of atmosphere, there isn't really a big difference between lunch and dinner.
