This is an item on the lunch/dinner menu at Le Cellier and it includes app, entree and dessert. Would you be able to purchase this on the DDP? Are there any exclusions to things you can't buy on the DDP at participating restaurants?

If you are referring to the 3 course meal, yes they allow it on the basic dp...BUT there is a caveat. You can not do any substitutions with it( meaning you order it as is).

We went to Le Cellier in June and also Sept. of last year 08 and they did have a special menue that did include a app. but this didn't include all the entrees like
New York Strip Steak - with bercy butter, balsamic red onions, watercress, and roasted Yukon potatoes

Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce

The menue that had the app had a cheaper selection of entrees so we passed on the app to get the Filet, but you do get bread sticks before the entree and the pretzel bread sticks are great.

Yes, the 3-course was available to DDP when we went over the holidays. Although the menu was slightly limited, it is still a good value. Especially if you want to get some cheese soup to go with the pretzel bread!

thanks :thumbsup2 I liked this on the menu for the fact that I can try the Cheddar cheese soup and the pretzel breadsticks :) I will add this as a definite place to eat!

Le Cellier is always number one on our list and the hardest place to get an ADR so we always book Le Cellier first on what ever day we can get in for dinner and work all other ADR's around that day.

what does the inside look like? I'll be alone with my DD4 and the food probably won't be appealing to her...could I get away with draggin her along?

That is my main concern....that my DD behaves...doesn't look like anything, including the food would appeal to her, but I figure I gotta have a meal or two that I want to enjoy! ALthough I have to say, the two of us went to Boma last Sept and I wasn't sure she'd do too well and she loved it there, so I guess I should give her more credit :) As long as our server is friendly and attentive, my DD should be fine...I just can't wait to try the Cheddar cheese soup that everyone raves about :)

how old is your dd.. this will be my kids 1st trip ds will be 7 ( not to worried about him) but dd will just be turning 4 and she is our "spirited" one

my spirited one was 3 and a half when we were there. SHe did really well the whole trip....but, I kept to her sleeping schedule after two nights of keeping her up late. SHe had a major meltdown the third day and it was because she was just so tired. once I kept to her bedtime schedule, we got back on track and enjoyed our vacation. We did mostly kid themed restaurants last time, and this time, I want to throw in a few for me :) You will all have such a good time...your first trip is unforgettable! I still think about it daily....

we are doing the ddp so im trying to get as many character meals as possible my kids havent taken naps in forever and all the sites suggest come back for a noon nap .. ill prob need it more than them!! Did you do the ddp .. is it enough food.. was your dd food good... my dd is such a picky eater.. what was your dd favorite place to eat?

Yeah, napping did not happen on our trip! but we didn't spend all day in the parks either. Quiet time watching TV at the WL was a good relaxer every day. We didn't do the DDP last time but we are our next trip in April :) My daughter's favorite places were Casey's Corner (hotdogs) at the MK, the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL (both breakfast and dinner were fantastic and she ate everything!), and believe it or not, Boma. She basically eats mac & cheese and chicken nuggets and chocolate milk. And of course all breakfast foods except eggs. Even at the fancier restaurants you'll always find the staples for a picky eater :) WCC at the WL was fantastic though. THe servers are really fun and lively and the food was delicious. Same goes for the Boma experience. The food was outstanding and then we went to the gift shop and shopped around, went outside to visit the animals, walked around the pool area, played on the playground...there was so much to do there. WE must have spent at least three hours. I considered staying there for our APril trip but we spend most of our time at MK so it just makes more sense to return to the WL :) If you have any other trip questions, feel free to PM me :)

Do you think a 6 year old would do okay for dinner here?

Does anyone know if they have coloring pages and crayons at the table service restaurants?? Or should I bring my own and pray they don't melt??
