We've booked the Epcot Candle Light package at Le Cellier and I was wondering if anyone can recommend an entree beside beef. My DH loves beef but me, not so much. When you buy the package can you order anything from the menu or is it a set meal with the package. Also, does anyone know if the reserved seating that is included means we will get good seats up front or does it not really matter whether you are in the Le Cellier's reserved seating?
Thanks

I've always eaten beef but I think they have a fish dish. I haven't heard anything about it though. We have done the Candlelight package at Le Cellier and you can get anything off the menu. There may be an upcharge if you do surf and turf but everything else is ok to order. The dining room for Le Cellier is small which is why it's usually difficult to get an ADR there. There is no better place to sit in Le Cellier. There is no windows, you can't see out.

Le Cellier is best known for their beef and their fantastic cheese soup and pretzel bread. But they also have other entrees on their menu. Here's a link to their dinner menu as of June 2010 http://allears.net/menu/menu_lcd.htm With your package each person is entitled to an appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Only specialty beverages and lobster entrees are excluded.

I think the op question about the reserved seating is in regard to the seating at the Candlelight Processional itself. There is no assigned seating. Persons who have purchased the Candlelight Dinner Package will receive special stickers from their restaurant when they settle their bill. These stickers allow you entrance to the line outside the Americana Theater that is reserved for persons that purchased the dining package. There is a line on the other side of the theater where people that did not purchase a dinner package can wait in standby. About 15 minutes before showtime, once everyone from the reserved line has entered the theater and found seats, IF THERE IS REMAINING SPACE STILL AVAILABLE persons from the standby line will be allowed in. Some shows will have some space available for those without reserved seating but many will not.

When entering the theater you may find a roped off section up front set aside for some special group of people. When we went last year we were able to sit just about 5 rows back from the front a bit left of center stage.

I like the hoisin glazed salmon very much.

I love this site!!! Everything I needed to know. I will be having salmon and arriving early for the "restaurant sticker" line. Any suggestion on how early I should be in the line to be in the first dozen or so rows?
Thanks to everyone for the helpful responses.

There's a baked halibut and a salmon two ways on the menu, at least there was a few weeks ago.

I enjoyed the hoisin salmon, but the poached one paired with it was just so-so. Not tried the halibut yet but it looked good.

When we did the CP two years ago, the reserved line still started about two hours prior to show time. Started attracting lot of people by an hour ahead. Please note that the very center front sections are given to family and members of the various choral groups that are singing for that show, so at best even with package seating you'll be approx. 10 rows back. I find that rows 10-15 are fine. You don't want to be TOO close or you lose the effect and can't see the whole stage.

We were in line more than an hour before showtime - maybe as long as 90 minutes. That did put us fairly close to the front of the line, perhaps about 40 persons were ahead of us.

Chris, I second what tinka-belle says, order the salmon but ask for it "one way" hoisin only, the poached "second way" was mediocre.

Last year for the Candlelight Processional, my DSis ordered the lump crab custards, salmon entree, & chocolate whiskey cake. She enjoyed every bite! (DMom & I stuck to beef, ceasar salad, & cheese soup, w/ desserts.) We plannned our meal 3 hrs before our show, so we had lots of time to get in line for a great seat. Have a wonderful trip!

Actually, the part of your post about the stand-by line isn't 100% correct. There are always some seats set aside for the stand-by line because Disney advertises the Candlelight Processional as included with park admission, and in order for that to be true, some non-CP'ers must be seated at every show.

I've had people I'm with order the chicken and that looked very good otherwise you cannot go wrong with salmon
