Has anyone ever done a layout to submit to a scrapbook magazine. I am attempting to do this for the first time. The rules say I need to have a "superior quality color photocopy." Any idea where I can get a really good 12x12 copy? I have a Kinkos near by me. I've never done color copies there. Is it even possible to get a copy on 12x12 paper? If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate some.

I had some published in a special issue of CK but at the time I was doing 8.5x11. I'm sure you can take it to Kinkos. I think the mags understand that the copy won't be true 12x12.

Good luck!!

color copier. The color comes out great. You can reduce copy 12X12's to 97% and print on ll X 17 paper. If they publish you, the magazine will ask for the original page, anyway.

Thank you both for the replies. This has been really helpful.

Ask Kinko's to use their best paper. It makes a huge difference in the quality of the reproduction.

Good luck!

I went to Kinkos yesterday and got my pages copied. They came out really good. I copied onto 11x17 paper and only lost a little on the bottom. Thanks for all the suggestions you guys gave me.
