Hi,

I haven't been to Disneyland in sometime, I see everyone recommends Disneyland express but it's 30 one way, 48 return. That seems really high and miceage has it listed at 30 return, which is obviously dated. I paid less to go on a 300 mile bus trip recently, and not in a cheap city.

Is this really the best option now? I can literally rent a car for a day at rack for less than the cost of two people.

Thank you

Look at Mousesavers.com to see if there are any shuttle deals for you. Also, call your hotel to see if they offer any deals with certain companies. Renting a car is certainly an option, especially if your hotel offers free parking (like the Candy Cane Inn). A car would also give you some freedom to sightsee outside of the immediate DLR area. Lastly, look into the cost of a taxi or Uber. This should give you some good data for price comparing.

Depending on time you are arriving and demand, rental cars can sometimes be the cheapest and fastest option. You do NOT need a car in the DL resort area, but personally I hate shared shuttles with multiple stops or having to wait for scheduled times. On my last trip, rental car was half the price of even Uber round trip so it was a no brainier.
