Hi,
I have tried twice to lose weight in the last year. The first time I lost 20 lbs and then gained it all back. The second time I lost 19 lbs and have gained back 5 or 6. I DON'T want it back!!!! I figured that maybe if I keep a journal I will be less likely to cheat! My goal is to lose 46 lbs. That would take me to 160 which is pretty good since I'm 5' 11'' with a medium build. I am hoping to be down close to my goal weight by January 2006 because my husband and I decided that we would participate in the 1/2 marathon at Disney. I'm SOOOOO excited. We will be living in Florida by then (my husband's Air Force) and can't wait! Today is my first official day back on the program. I've used the Body for Life program before and it seems to work really good! This morning I had a small bowl of Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal with skim milk and then at about 10am I had a ham sandwich with a teaspoon of lite margarine and one slice of fat free swiss cheese on diet bread. Now that all the kids are sleeping (I run a small daycare out of my home) I am going to hop on the treadmill. I'm trying to see if I can work my way up to running about 3 miles on the treadmill 3 times a week while keeping under the 16 minute mile requirement needed for the upcoming marathon. Right now I'm able to do only one mile but I'll keep working on it.
