Well.....we knew I couldn't possibly drive past the LSS....especially when they called to say they missed me (I have been home preparing for my craft fair this weekend).

So....I stopped.

The display is LOVELY! It looks just like the store...or the paint display at Lowes.

There are about 30 different papers...just as lovely as the fabric, just way less expensive.

I ONLY brought home 15 sheets...all blues. There aren't any solids (that I saw) but there is a little "key" at the bottom to tell you what goes with what. My DD has always had a blue Laura Ashley room...so I went with that.

The albums!!! Oh MY! It took all the reserve I had to not bring them home...though the $40 price tag helped. Maybe as a Christmas Gift for Laura.

I also picked up some of the buttons (I had to....I was $2 away from my next key tag punch...it made sense - LOL). They match so nicely...and I have more than enough buttons from my sewing that I usually skip them. They kind of reminded me of the new Doodlebug line of tokens.

Anyway...$40 later....I came home to cook dinner. I spent the take out money on books (ggg). Oh! The idea book that comes with it is great.

Sorry girls...you are going to NEED this paper!!!

I love Anna Griffin stuff , so I imagine I will love the Laura Ashley line. You ladies with the name Patty really like to get people in trouble don't you ?

I really need to open a scrap store in my area -
I went to the LSS tonight -
I asked if they were getting it -
here is what they told me-
That it will not be available for shipment ANYWHERE until November 1st, then it depends where they are on the list to be shipped! So hopefully by the end of November they will have it -

this store has had the SAME paper forever - augh - I need new stuff!!!!!!!!!!
