Day Nine – Seaworld and Epcot
We had another late morning today, we got up around 9am and went down for Breakfast in Picabu.I had the same as always, a bagel with cream cheese and a orange juice. We were meeting the others in the lobby at 9:45, ready to get a taxi as we were going to Seaworld. We called one of the taxi firms as we needed a 6 seater one, it only took about 5 minutes and one turned up. It wasn’t long before we were pulling up in the drop off area at Seaworld, paid the taxi and went to get in the queue for tickets!

To be honest as much as I enjoy Seaworld I find it rather expensive now! Anyway tickets purchased, we headed through the gate and decided to go over to do Kracken first. Me, DH and my dad rode that a few times whilst the others had a look through the shop. After we did Journey to Atlantis and got soaked. I always laugh at people on this ride as everyone comes down that big drop and thinks great im not wet! But its after that point where you usually get soaked!

We went to look at the Penguins, I love the little puffins, I think there are so funny! Then we went to see the Sealions and the Manatees/ We then decided to get some lunch so we went over to the Budweiser hospitality tent! They do really nice food in there – there sandwiches are huge! And of course – free Beer so it didn’t take long to convince everyone! Me and DH shared a Deli sandwich and got a slice of cake between us.

After lunch we headed over to the Dolphin show – we had never seen this before so I was looking forward to it! It was really good – well what we saw of it anyway! About 10 minutes into it, they stopped as there was a storm in the area! Although it wasn’t raining in the park or anything, most things stopped. So we decided to go over the other side of the park and do the Wild Arctic ride! After we had done that we went to have a look at the Stingrays and then the Dolphins who were about to be fed, it’s a shame there isn’t much space to get close to them anymore – unless you pay extra to feed them that is! I’d paid enough to get into the park so I didn’t want to pay out extra to feed the dolphins too! I cant remember how much it was but I think it was quite expensive!

After this the storm was still in the area and things were still not running so we decided to call it a day! We headed back to the hotel and as we were in the Taxi the heavens opened and it started to pour with rain! We dashed into the hotel and chilled out for an hour or so before heading out for the evening! We decided to eat in Picabu tonight, me and DH had a pizza between us with lots of extra toppings. The pizza was actually really nice and came out really quickly! After we had finished our Dinner we put a load of washing on in the launderette! And headed over to play fantasia gardens mini golf! The golf was fun even though I lost! – With 3 golfers in the family im never likely to win!! Its funny though as all the men take it so seriously! Practice swing and all that! I just whack it and hopes that it goes in! We finished that and headed back to the hotel to put the finished washing into the tumble dryer for a while, we all went back to our room and played cards and had a drink (or several!) before the others called it a night. DH went back downstairs to collect the washing, and I folded it all and put it in the case as tomorrow is our last night at the Dolphin before we head off on our Cruise!!

shame about the storm at seaworld
