Laundry

Does anyone know if any of the laundry rooms on board has laundry detergent vending available? Not planning on having to wash any clothes on board, but you never know what might happen. I'm hoping they have some available to buy on board so that could be one less thing I have to pack.

They sell the small one time usage Tide, as well as softener. I believe it was one dollar a box, but not 100%. I have heard that they sell out often, but in three cruises, I have done laundry every time, and always purchased this onboard.

$1.00 per box of Tide or $1.00 per bottle of softner. I brought my own of both (dryer sheets).

I thought it was WELL worth the money to send our laundry out. The laundry room was getting a little ugly when I went in there to iron one night.

Ended up doing some middle of the night laundry on deck 7 last cruise, glad I had all that. Found the now-discontinued Tide Tablets at Big Lots. Still have some of the now (presumably) discontinued Wisk tablets froma prior cruise, too. I have heard of some folks bringing ziplocs of detergent.

And having found out more about the dry cleaning prices, perhaps I might send out some cleaning if the need arises. Not so much on the 4 night, but perhaps on the 7 night.

yes its a 100 a box but i brought my own I buy the tabs that way they take up no room,dryer sheets .this time I'm bring small bleach for whites tripple baged it so no leaks sandra

I found the best time to do laundry was right after the late dinners started dinner. We had first seating, and I found that if you waited till everyone had gone in to eat at the late seating, that the laundry room was deserted, and I did several loads without a soul in site! Next time I'll bring my own detergent. Before we went I swore that I wasn't going to do laundry--well with two kids, I was wrong!! Next time i"ll be ready!

just found bleach tabs borax makes them small bleach out tabs in any one know if walmart in florida sells laundry tabs cant find here in ny help sandra
