laundry room akl?

Can anyone tell me if there is a guest laundry at AKL - just packing for marathon weekend - and can't decide how many running kits I need!!!

Yes, they have a couple; one on each side of the resort. It's $2 each for the washer and dryer. What I did was bring a bagful of quarters, and a couple loads' worth of detergent in a ziploc bag.

LOL! I just asked about where this is yesterday but have yet to get a reply.

I know they have one, Ive seen pictures. I'm just not sure exactly where it is located.

It's on the Zebra Trail side of the resort, on the first floor, where you exit to go outside to either Mara or the pool. Simba's Clubhouse is also across the hall from the laundry room.

thanks, I thought I'd seen one when |I was there, but didn't want to assume and end up running 26 miles in grubby gym kit!!

There are two - one is on the left side of the resort. Pass the check in desk in the lobby, take the hallway on the left, take the elevator down one floor, and the laundry room is up the hallway a bit at the next "alcove".

The second is out by the pool - leave Mara and walk to the left, follow signs for Simba's cubhouse. This laundry is convenient if you are hanging out by the pool, but is a little more banged up than the other one. One time a hose blew off the wall and water was spraying everywhere (looked like an episode of I Love Lucy, with all of us trying to catch it - none of us thought to simply turn the machine off - too many pina coladas!).

I also bring a roll of quarters (I pick it up at the bank before I leave), and a baggy with drier sheets. I pick up detergent on our way into Disney (town car stop).
