Laundry Facilities for DVC Studios

Do any of the studios have any sort of washer and dryer?
If not, are there laundry facilities nearby?

What sort of dishes and utensils do the studios have?
I know they don't have full kitchens, but do they have anything besides a small refrigerator and microwave?

The Studios do not have their own washer dryer but there are laundry facilities in each of the DVC resorts. And they are FREE for DVC members. They rigged the machines so they don't take quarters. This was a neat surprise to me the night I dragged all my laundry and roll of quarters to the quiet pool at OKW. I thought that was a great plus for being a member.

What sort of dishes and utensils do the studios have?

The studios have paper plates and plastic utensils. There are never enough so I always call on check in and ask for a bunch. I eat cereal in the room each morning and it is easier for me to get it at check in than to remember it as I run out.

The studio rooms have a toaster (not a toaster 0ven) small fridge and microwave. You will also find an iron and ironing board (grilled cheese?)

Just to add something on the paper plates and stuff. At least for the coffee, there are a couple "real" coffee cups. Made a big difference to me as I couldn't stand the thought of drinking coffee from paper cups in my room.

OKW has the laundry room near all the pools

BWV has it near the gym on the first floor (also near the elevators?)

VWL has it near the elevators - looking at the elevators - there is a long walk to the left of the elevators - it is the second door on the right - it is the room behind the vending machine

BCV has it on the fourth floor

don't know where it will be at SSR

Not at WDW, but VB has laundry rooms on the 4th floor of the Inn building and in the lower level (garage level) of each villas building.

Studios usually also have 4 regular drinking glasses.
I do wish that they might put a juice container and just one dish for microwave cooking in the supplies....I usually just bring some gladware if I plan on cooking in the micro. Just making hot water in the coffee maker makes anything instant quite quickly, too....oatmeal, hot chocolate, instant soup, even jello. We are regular studio-goers - that way we can visit more often - and I keep looking for creative ways for quick meals w/microwave.
MacNcheese works well, I haven't had the nerve to try the micro mixes for coffee cake yet, but I will give it a shot sometime soon!!
DH has used the laundry facility at BCV; it was far away from our room, but we were ok with that. (he did put coins in the machine, tho - didn't realize that it was free, lol!)

When we stayed in BCV studio, I bought plastic bowls @ the grocery store for 25 cents (hmm, I see a $ symbol, but not one for cents on my keyboard - I did not know that - anyway) a piece and washed them each day in the sink - and it's a small sink. DD still likes to use, what she calls, the Disney bowls. I also save any condiment packs we get from fast food places before we go, this keeps us from having to pack ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc. for sandwiches.
