Anyone Eat a JIKO lately(last month or so)?
Here is the Entree' menu that I got on Disney.com and was wondering if it is acurate?
Read on a different thread that JIKO is not as good anymore because of a New Chef.
I only eat seafood and was wondering if anyone has eaten any of the seafood there lately and how was it?

It's the opinion of some that Jiko is not as good because of the new chef - I know some of my local friends think it's better. Whether it's better or not is open to individual interpretation, you can't go by what one poster says in one thread. If I remember correctly the poster on the thread was disappointed by the removal from the menu of a favorite item.

We ate there in May (will be eating there in 12 days!) and thought the food was wonderful as always, although we did not eat seafood. However, the Maize Crusted Halibut (the type of fish sometimes changes) is an item that is always on the menu and DH had it a while back and really enjoyed it.

That is the menu from when we were there in May (except there was a different vegetarian entree--chakalaka and pap, which we found disappointing since that is on the menu at Boma for both breakfast and dinner). I had the tuna, DH had the halibut, and DBFF had the chicken. All of them were amazing, but that was before the menu change.

I had the Shrimp Curry when I was there in March and it was wonderful. I am not a big fan of curry sauces since some can be so strong. I was seated at the cooking spot and mentioned that to the chef (Joshua). He got my waiter's attention and they actually brought a small dish of the sauce for me to taste before ordering.

It was one of the best dining experiences I have had at WDW. The food was awesome and the service was superb.
