Does anybody think it's bizzare that it says "Animal Kingdom LODGE" instead of AKV? That there's no refernece to "A Disney Vacation Club Resort"?

It does look close, i'm guessing that's why they've only got rooms on one side of that particular building..

I'd betcha that road looks totally different (at least the perception of its proximity to the resort) the day everything officially opens.

WOW I can't beleive how far it's came along in the past few months time. I'm hoping they are SECEVAL months ago of schedule, I'd love to stay there in Dec!!!

landscaping can do miracles

just wondering if it's the perspective/optical illusion or it's really that close

I think that is the road which will be used to access the resort. Parking is underneath the resort.

Editing to clarify...Parking is on the 1st floor, not underneath or below ground.

Yes, that "road" is actually a driveway access and all parking is under the building. I love the way the main lodge has been landscaped on the drive in, and I have to believe the Villas will have the same feel.

Awesome! thanks for sharing. We have Jmabo house booked for Jan and I know they won't be done yet but hopefully they will be done by our summer 2009 trip!
