Late PS at Liberty Tree Tavern

I am thinking of making a ps at Liberty Tree for 8:00 on a Saturday. My concern is since the park closes at 8:00 we will be rushed through and the all you can eat will stop before I do. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm concerned about the same thing. Except we have a 6:50 P.S., when the park closes at 6:00. I questioned the CM about it and she checked into it for me. She said that even though the rides close at 6:00, the shops and restaurants will be open later. I'm concerned that we will be rushed and the characters will barely give us a second glance. We had this happen once at Garden Grill. We had a 7:30 P.S. The service was very good, but we felt like we were causing our server to stay beyond her normal hours. We couldn't just relax and enjoy our meal. The character interaction was the worse. We only saw Chip and Eeyore and they barely paused long enough for a picture. I have been second guessing making a P.S. this late ever since I called. I don't want a repeat performance of GG. I hope someone has experience with a late P.S. and can help us all out.

We had a PS at Liberty Tree Tavern on our last trip that was half an hour before park closing. We left about half an hour after the park closed, and the restaurant was still going full-swing. I don't think you would be rushed.

we have done this a few times and never felt rushed or like we were not offered enough. In fact, I think they push even more food your way to get it out of the kitcvhen (LOL). After your meal you will feel like a VIP as you get a private escort to Main Street or at least we did each time.
