We are planning on IOA on Monday Oct 27th (open 9-7). Since we are going to MNSSHP the night before we may get there a little late (young kids......).

What are the crowds like on Mondays in late Oct? And since there is no HHN that night, should we expect the day crowds to be smaller?

Also, I've been reading about Express Passes running out early in the day. Is that because of summer crowds? We are planning on the Kodak Pass booklet and were thinking about the Express Pass purchase option ($10 in Oct I think). Do we need them?

The crowds wont be heavy. Maybe a 20 minute wait for some of the more popular stuff, but that's about it. As far as express, you'll be fine using a combination of your Kodak express and the free express. The free express will not run out early on the day you go. It'll run out when it's time for the express machines to be closed. You *could* buy the $10 express pass, but you wont need them, IMO.

Thanks for the reply! I was thinking the issue might be the summer crowds. One of the kids is too small for the big rides and we were a little leery of what we would do if the lines were long and we had to entertain him by himself.....

By the way - congrats on your EOMs ! (I think you're talking about Employee of the Month?)

The only busy time in October will be weekends because of HHN.

Yes, the EOMs are what you guessed.

And the weekends will be a slight bit busier during Oct, but not during the day. HHN can be 2x-3x busier than the day, easily.
