Late Nights During the Week of Christmas

My teen daughter and I are booked at The Paradise Pier Hotel from December 20-26. we will be taking advantage of early entrance, and likely leaving the parks before they get extremely busy as we both have panic attacks in large crowds. Can anybody tell me if the crowds thin out at night during this week? We plan on heading back after the night parade and we are hoping that while we are entering the park many others are leaving.
