Our flight will be arriving at 11:30pm  We have always arrived early morning. Can anyone tell me about Magical Express that late at night?? Is the wait longer? Since I have to get my luggage anyway, would I be better off just getting a limo? Any past experiences would be great!

In 2009, I got to experience ME after hours. My flight was delayed and arrived closer to 1 am. :scared1: You will need to pick your luggage up from the baggage claim. The wait was a little longer than usual b/c of less people arriving at that hour and less buses running. We were added to another bus and the last to be dropped off. Was it awful? No, but my traveling party was me and my 18 yr old cousin. We were just very tired and hungry. (Thank God for my mother having a fruit basket sent to our room upon check in :yay:)
If you have young children you may want to consider a limo.

you have to pick up you bagage by youreself and the service can take a little longer but notthing you cant handle .

How long did you have to wait to actually leave for the resort? I know in the morning you only have to wait at the most about a half hour. Just wondering if they make you wait much longer than that since as you said, less people.

The two times we have arrived after 10pm we had to wait at least 40 minutes for the bus to leave. The volume of passengers is so low, I think they combine more resort stops too and overall we found it took longer than we had thought was reasonable - like 90-100 minutes from off plane to checking into room. We have switched to using car services for late arrivals.

We once did a flight that arrived at around midnight, and we didn't have a long wait at all.

However, just a warning, do not put the magical express tags on your luggage! We did this just so we could easily identify our luggage when we got to baggage claim. And because of this, our luggage never showed up!

We had to put in a report to JetBlue that our luggage was lost. It turned out that Disney took our luggage since the tags were on it...but it wouldn't be delivered until the next morning. They said they start at like 9am, and our luggage might not reach us until 12pm. We didn't want to wait until then and asked if we could get our luggage, which they had already stored on one of their delivery trucks. After about an hour, we finally got our luggage and were on our way.

Thanks for the info! Still not sure what to do... :confused3 With my luck I will end up waiting 2 hours! I guess it is probably best to pay for the car/limo. At least I know I will get there in a shorter time period!

it was about 30-40 to get on a bus, though as tired and hungry as we were it felt like forever. Probably took less than 2 hours total from landing till we got to the hotel. But again we arrived so late and I don't feel it was the norm.
