On our arrival night, we will get to MCO at 7:40p. We will be taking Magical Express to the Beach Club. I have no idea what this means for an arrival time, but I am thinking we will be wanting to grab something to eat around 10:00p?? How late is Beach Club Marketplace open? Is there anywhere else we can grab a bite that late? We will be staying club level, but I bet the lounge is closed at 10, huh?

The big problem with that is that there is no CS option available at that time. If I remember correctly, Beach Club Marketplace closes at 9:30, and Hurricane Hanna's will have already closed as well. We have been through this several times now, and it is one of the reasons we aren't rushing to stay at BCV again. Yacht Club has nothing. And of course, Epcot will have already closed at that time as well.

Boardwalk Bakery should be open at that time, but Boardwalk Joe's will have closed, and then you are only left with TS options. ESPN Club does not do take-out (have tried several times). Boardwalk Pizzeria might be an option, not sure when the close? They sell slices and whole pies. Not sure about Swolphin hotels - their cafeteria style might be open (Picabu)?

The lack of quick food options at Beach Club/Yacht Club and Boardwalk during the day is a major downfall, but during night hours, there really isn't anything available.

Not sure about Club Level, as we have stayed at Yacht Club and Contemporary, and I'm pretty sure they were both closed at that time of night.

uh oh! i was afraid of this! maybe we will get lucky & arrive sooner than I think, but I doubt it. how late does room service run?

This is good news! I think I read somewhere that they have carryout - is this true? I am assuming that I can't make an ADR there?

No ADRs or carryout at Beaches & Cream - they have a counter service window for ice cream cones, but you can't get take out "real food" there.

Yup. That is why I didn't mention it above either.

It's a big problem, IMHO, with the lack of food options around that area at night.

I would eat at the airport before catching ME. There are plenty of CS choices at MCO.

Picabu at the Dolphin is open 24 hours. It's only a short walk (5 mins) from the BC.

I would suggest taking a short walk over to the boardwalk for dinner. There are numerous excellent restaurants to choose from. The flying fish is one of my favorites. I would make a reservation since you are going with ten people. This way you are guaranteed a table when you get there.

oooh - what's Picabu?!

It's like Disney's old-fashioned "buffeteria" places from years ago. I had the chicken pot pie and really enjoyed it. They gave a lot of food when I went there, not sure if the same ginormous portion sizes still apply.

I agree with the Picabu option - we often arrive pretty late and it's been our standby for a late night meal.

The OP asked for CS options, so suggesting a Signature Restaurant is going to be a totally different experience, not to mention much more expensive.

Plus, how can they make an accurate reservation, when they aren't sure what time for arrival? They could be delayed in flight or even with DME.

I disagree that there are 'numerous' choices on the BW - ESPN Club, Kouzzina, Big River Grille and Flying Fish, is hardly a huge list. Most of those are always packed when we are staying at BW, so I don't think that this is going to work for them. Especially with a part of 10, at that time of night.

Picabu at the Dolphin will be her best bet, IMHO, Tiger :)

Hi! OP here! Somewhere some wires were crossed....we are just a party of 4 at 10pm. :-) I think we will walk over to Beaches & Cream - if it is too crowded, maybe we wil stroll over to Picabu. My fingers are crossed that we will get there in time before Marketplace closes!

I just discovered that Epcot is having EMH that night! What does that mean as far as counter service, etc at Epcot?

The hours posted for the Beach Club Marketplace I have seen online are that it closes at 11 pm. I have been looking into this as my mother has a similar arrival time in October. I told her to grab something at the airport just to be safe.

Marketplace closing at 11p would solve everything. I have also heard that the Crews Cup Lounge in the Yacht Club serves food until midnight.

Keep in mind the Marketplace is not a full CS service restaurant. They have drinks, a few sandwiches and a few desserts. There is very limited seating, so you may have to take your food back to your room or to the "TV room" (I think it is officially called the solarium.)

I was just about to suggest checking for EMH at EPCOT, and then I saw your follow up post. In our recent experience (March and July of this year) several EPCOT CS were open during evening EMH. I think we grabbed something from the bakery in France as late as 10 or 10:30pm.

You could also check the disney site for dining reservations if you are interested in a TS restaurant. For example, if you plug in "EPCOT" and September 10 (which is an EMH evening) lots of 9:30 and 9:55 reservations are available.

Also, we've been to BC Marketplace and Beaches and Cream up until 11pm closing for late-night snacks. Someone also mentioned Crew's Cup at the Yacht Club. And Boardwalk is another good option.

Actually, dining options is one of the reasons we love BC - we feel like there are so many options in the EPCOT resort area and we aren't limited to just our own resort.
