Hi!

We're staying at RPH and checking in on July 20th. The night before we'll be at the Embassy, and plan to get up super early on the morning of the 20th to get our FOTL passes and leave our bags at RPH.
From what I've been reading, EE usually starts at 7AM. Is it worth it for us to get to RPH that early to drop our bags if we have FOTL? That is our plan, but I have no idea even what time we'd have to be at RPH to make that 7AM rope drop. Will they even let us get our FOTL passes if we are not checked into our room yet? We are also Disney vets, and used to RD, so it's hard for me to get out of that commando style touring...last year for our week long WDW trip, I had extremely detailed itineraries for every day lol. I want to make sure we get the most time out of our trip, we will have four full days including check in/checkout days.

Thanks ;)

I've checked in at 7am before. Check in and get your room keys as those are what you use to get your express pass. I've read the computers reset at 5 or 6 for the day's new guests. You can check in with out an open room though and get your express pass and go have fun!

Thanks! We can try get there earlier, but it might be pushing it.

Has anyone checked in earlier than 7?

We had friends arrive one morning just before 6am and they were checked in at 6.

What pcstang says is correct. You will be able to get your Express Passes and leave your luggage with bell services if a room is not available.

Thanks! Hubby and I have to figure out when we want to check in yet, but I'm glad it's not out of the norm to be so early

I think we're going to forgo the super early check in that day, we really love the breakfast at the Embassy, and it will be painful on the kiddos (and me! lol) to wake up that early. So we'll eat our breakfast at 6:30 and then head to the park. We will prob just miss the first hour I think, but we won't make the 7AM RD.
