1) The STRONG RUMOR is that BoG will start to be open until Midnight for TS dinner.
. . . but, still not a character meal
. . . these are for days when MK is open late
. . . no idea when the ADR's would stop
. . . the thought is 1-hr to 1½-hrs prior to park closing time
. . . no day/date given when such a change would start

2) How do we know?
3) Several of the SERVERS have already transferred to other eateries (as SERVERS).
4) They do not want to have to work until midnight or later.

Thanks for the news/rumor. I'm not a huge BOG fan, but it sounds like a nice option and a good idea for late-night guests. :earsboy:

I was looking for a ressie the other evening for my upcoming trip for dinner and it gave me the option of 11:00 PM...

I would not want to eat there that late but if others do I see nothing wrong with it. I think that they should tweak their menu a bit to offer a few more good late night snacks.

I agree - too late - maybe they will do an after hours party like Epcot did.

1) Why offer "late night snacks" when they make so much money from full dinners?
2) I cannot see them offering cheaper snacks with such a prime location.
3) But, my crystal ball rolled off the table and has a crack in it.
4) Thus, the view is somewhat distrorted.

My god...it's not even very good

Nothing in the magic kingdom is...

Why on earth is there this obsession with the place...it's been 3 years...
It's a couple of neat looking rooms and average food at comparatively high prices.

Making your kid eat there at 11? This is borderline nuts...like a 120 minute wait for the mine train.
Me need a reality check...me thinks

In my opinion (and I have not eaten at every place in the MK) it's the best sit down meal in that park. I think the craziness of it shows that MK the flagship park needs more of that.

I'm not a BOG fan. I've had 9:30 pm reservations at CRT and not been sat until closer to 10:30pm. It would have made everyone happy if they just said come at 10:30. A very substantial portion of WDW guests are from other countries where it is not unusual at all to eat dinner at 10 or 11 or even midnight. I bet the slots all book up. If they don't the hours will be cut back. If they do it will expand to other sit downs.

I would not likely try to feed a child late (but I have none so who knows) but my family and my BF and HIS family have been known to eat dinner at 10 PM or later. Probably comes from living in NYC land of food any time. Or something. Not everyone eats between 6 and 8!
