Our flight to go home leaves Orlando at 9:15PM...what time do you think we'll leave on ME for the airport? Also can our luggage be stored or dropped off earlier in the day to be transported to the airport?

The resort will hold your luggage in storage until your transportation arrives. DME will pick you up 3 hours before your flight.

Somewhere between 615 and 630. Your pickup is approximately 3 hours prior to your flight but depending on the bus scheduling is might be a couple mintues later.

If you're departing* on a participating airline, you can check in for your flight at the RAC counter at your resort and check your luggage through to your home airport, any time between 9:15 AM (i.e. no more than twelve hours prior to your flight's departure) and 1 or 1:30 PM (time the counter closes).

If you're using another airline, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services/Luggage Assistance.

In either case, you need to be at the Magical Express bus stop fifteen minutes before your scheduled time, bucause that time is when the bus departs from your resort - not when it arrives. If you've left anything - even just your carry-ons - with Bell Services, allow another fifteen minutes to claim it in case there's a line.

*Specified because ALL airlines participate in Magical Express for arrivals.

Thanks for the info. We are on JetBlue so I'm sure we can check in at the hotel. Since we took off a day from our vacation by booking the last flight of the night gives us almost a whole day to do our last minute shopping and extras we want to get done. Works out great!

I would allow at least half an hour to get baggage back from the bellhop. Not sure whether this is still the case but the All Stars had a sign posted about needing 45 minutes to get your baggage. At the All Stars, baggage is sometimes stored in trailers in the parking lot.

I try to get the last flight of the day back home so as to have the day to spend there.

Not the OP, but since I was wondering the same thing ...

Just to verify I've got it straight in my head: if we're taking a late flight home, we can leave both carry-on and checked baggage with the hotel if we decided to go to a park/DTD before we leave, right?

Yes. All hotels will store your luggage if you have a later flight. I travel alot on business and any hotel I've stayed at will store luggage either at check-in (if your room is not ready) or check-out (if you are leaving later).
