Late Coral Reef and transportation back

If we have an 8:50 ADR for Coral Reef, what will the crowds/buses be like when we get out? We are staying at POFQ. Will it still be a mad house after Illuminations?

If you are planning to be done about an hour later, chances are it could still be very crowded when leaving. But not a mad house like right after.
I wouldn't worry, if you take your time you should be fine.
