Late check out Royal Pacific

I will be leaving the Royal Pacific on the 17th Aug, what time is the check out, and can I request late check out? Do they have anywhere to store luggage if not ? I was wanting to spend part of the day in the parks.

Check-out is 11am.

You can request late check-out. They are usually good about granting it if they can. At least for now (benefits changing on July 1) Loews Members get 3 hours beyond check out, if available. You just call the morning of your check out day and request late check out. You may not get the full 3 hours, but I have always gotten at least an hour extra and usually till about 1:30. Make sure you let them know you are a Loews member. If you are not, sign up at www.loews-first.com. It is free.

You can store your luggage with the bell hop, no problem. Again, if you are a Loews member, you can use the gym facilities to freshen up after you come back from the parks.

You said that they are going to be changing the benefits. Do they do this often? Do you know if the later checkout time is going to change? I assume that we can just get on their website the check the benefits, is this correct?

the loews first program will go into effect this summer.
we don't have all the info on it yet.

some of us received an email talking about it briefly.
one homie posted what she was told on her trip last week about some changes.


you can request late check out and like goofy said, it is up to the occupancy level of the hotel that day you need late check out.
if they already have your room blocked out for someone checking in that day, you will not get an extension for late check out.

do the regular check out then, have your bags kept w/ backage claim area and they will give you a claim ticket and hold the bags.

anyone that has stayed at the hotel and has their bags held for them after check out time, can change clothes when they return to the hotel.

all the pools have a pool room where they have towels and storage areas.
you can shower there, use their towel and do a change of clothes at no charge.
the loews first has the perk of using the exercise/fitness room to change.

either way, you have a place to freshen up after you leave the park and wait for your ride to the airport.

i suggest that you pack a small plastic bag of a change of clothes and put it with your luggage.
when you return from the park, go to valet/baggage and get the small bag you need for the shower area.
then go freshen up and change there.

go back and then take your luggage out of the holding area and wait for your ride out in front of the hotel.

i have done it that way once before.
i check out, go to the park, return around 6, freshen up and then wait for my pick up ride

there is no extra charge doing this.
many handle it this way.

Is this perk void if staying with an APH rate?

it is one of the loews first perks to get late check out.
guarenteed if you are at platinum level, more than likely if you are blue or gold if available.

for ap holders, call in the morning early and request late check out.
if the hotel is not at full occupancy for that day for check ins, it is a possiblity to get a later check out time.

you might get an hour extension if not more depending on availability.

Stayed at RPR a couple of weeks ago with a APH rate...requested late checkout the last evening but did not say anything about my AP. Before even looking at our room number, desk clerk gave us a 12:30 checkout (1.5 hours past regular checkout time.) I maybe could have stretched it a little by showing my AP, but didn't think about it at the time. I was happy to get what I got.
