Late Check-out at the Dolphin

I am hoping to use late check out at the Dolphin as we have a late flight and don't need to leave until 4 pm.

Has anyone ever had a late checkout 'til 4 pm or is this pushing our luck?!?

I am a spg member (but don't have any points yet as I joined for this coming trip).

Has anyone ever asked for late checkout and been refused? And can I request it in advance?

I am a Gold SPG member and I have used the 4:00pm late check-out at many Sheraton locations. I have not used it at the Dolphin since my flights have been in the morning.

I do not know this answer for sure but I would recommend putting the request in for late check-out right now. Give your Dolphin reservation CM a call and explain the situation and put in the request. Then when you check-in to the Dolphin, politely remind that CM about the importance of the late check-out. I think (and hope) it will all work out for you. The Dolphin staff is very accomodating! And remember, if you don't get the answer you were looking for...don't hesitate to ask a different CM. It has worked for me before!
