Late character breakfasts

In the past, we've usually opted for pre-park opening character breakfasts. However, I'm considering the idea of first touring the park for a while and then having breakfast about 90 minutes after park opening.

My biggest concern about this is having to wait for a longer time to be seated. Anyone have experience with this (particularly at CRT and/or Crystal Palace)?

We've had a 10:30 Crystal Palace ADR and were seated within 5-10 minutes of that time. It actually worked out well for us as we were one of the last tables left during breakfast and get more character time as a result.

1) Sometimes, yes.
2) Sometimes, no.
3) Every day can be different.
4) I have seen waits of 5-10 minutes, and waits of 20-30 minutes.
5) There is zero way to predict this ahead of time.

We love doing late character breakfasts about 10:45 or 11:00. I haven't found much of a wait at most locations... with the exceptional of Ohana... whether our reservation is at 9:00 or 11:00, there is always a 20 min or so wait in lobby...but it isn't really an issue... beautiful lobby..nice and cool..and plenty of seating too...

Late breakfasts are our favorite as we usually only end up eating 2x that day. Never had a problem waiting in fact the longest waits we have had were our PPO or the ones right after opening. Not fans of either of those as I have felt rushed like we were missing precious time. Like empty park pictures or short lines. I don't feel as rushed as if we are missing something so we need to hurry to eat. It is getting crowded by around that time so why not relax.

The only time we've had a wait over 10mins was this past March at CRT- our reservation was at 950am and we waited for about 40-45mins.
