I just booked a reservation for Tusker House at 10:45 am. It was listed as a breakfast time, which is what I want. But now I'm curious about what happens when we're there. Do they try to get the breakfast crowd out before the lunch buffet items are put out at the buffet? I don't think we'll be done eating in 45 minutes (lunch seems to start at 11:30). Do some people end up eating both breakfast and lunch items? I don't want to do the wrong thing, but I also want to enjoy ourselves and not feel awkward as they transition between breakfast and lunch crowds. I'd be the person hissing at my husband "No, don't go up there - we only paid for breakfast!" And he'd be the guy saying, "I paid for my meal, I'm not done yet!" So in the interest of familial harmony, please advise what the expectation is here.

There is some overlap where there are both breakfast and lunch items on the buffet. You can eat any of it, and you will be charged for breakfast. Enjoy!

Disney does this every day. Nothing will be awkward.

Yes, you may also see some lunch items.

Best part, however, the Characters, are less rushed at the end of a meal period, so you may get more and/or 'better' photographs.

We've been there during the overlap. You will not be rushed and you are welcome to eat whatever is out, breakfast and/or lunch.
