Late Breakfast at Garden Grill

My family is not a big fan of the big early breakfast. What do you think of scheduling a late breakfast, around 10:30, at Garden Grill? I am thinking we could get there for rope drop, do Test Track and mission space, go across and maybe hit Soarin (depending on wait) before breakfast. Are the characters still good late in the seating? Any other problems I am not considering? We would probably then eat a late lunch at Beaches and Cream at Boardwalk and a very light dinner or perhaps dinner at Beaches and Cream and a light lunch or snack only?

I have a 10am GG planned adn I plan to RD soarin' and maybe do it twice and living with the land before my ADR. I think it's a good plan but I would not try to fit in 3 meals with such a late breakfast... I'd do an earlyish dinner (not too early) and a snack between if needed.

I HAVE read about the characters disappearing at the end of the seating though. It is not standard but it can happen depending on cast schedules i think.

We had a 10 am adr and the characters were around really quickly after we were seated. They did double check to see if we had seen everyone. We got to see a couple twice! It was a great experience and delicious!

I'm also planning on a late breakfast there, which will serve as "brunch". Two meals a day at WDW are usually plenty.

This is exactly what we do.

Take advantage of rope drop, have brunch, then hit our fastpasses! We do not take a break during the day and a nice sit down meal makes for an nice break.

We do have a "snack" breakfast in the room or grab something on our way from the hotel.

We have never been shorted on characters!
