Is there a downside to booking a late breakfast ADR at Plaza Inn? Breakfast runs until 11 when we are there and we have a 10:30 ADR. I read in another thread that some of the later ADR's at character meals do not get to meet all of the characters or sometimes none at all!! I think it is just an issue in the restaurants that serve lunch immediately after the character meal and I don't think Plaza Inn does, but I want to be sure because the characters are the only reason we are doing a sit down breakfast at all. We prefer to eat a later breakfast but if it will interfere with character time we may move up the ADR. Thanks!

In February we had the 10:30 ADR, last possible breakfast there. We had a wonderful time with tons of characters and only 4 families so we had a lot of time with each. Chip and Dale were photo bombing, Captain Hook, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Fairy God Mother, Pooh Bear, Tigger (really fun), Eyore, and Max.

We had a 10:30 there last month and loved it. We rope dropped and got rides in and then hit our ADR. Characters were great- chip, dale, Minnie, Peter Pan, hook, Max, tigger Pooh, eyeore. We did have to wait a
While for pooh to hit our area but that wasn't a big deal. Keep your 10:30- it was a great experience!

I like later too. Have a banana or something in the early morning. Get there before the park opens so you are on main street for the opening. Like DisTXMom said, be there at the rope drop and ride some rides. Then relax and enjoy the characters. They've never rushed us out of there. It makes it more like a brunch so we usually have an afternoon snack since we don't need a lunch since we are still full. We then have a little extra money for a dinner.

Thanks everyone! That makes me feel better-this is our first DLR trip and in WDW usually the later ADR's are great for character interaction so I was really surprised to read that some families were missing characters altogether at their "character" breakfast--we would be VERY disappointed!!

I think this is only a problem at Storytellers. If you plan on going there go early- we missed Dale from CHIP AND DALE's critter breakfast because we had a later ressie... This year we are doing a later adr at the plaza but an early at storytellers (love the food and characters there)

Our family just had a late (10:30) breakfast with the Characters last week. It was marvelous. All the characters made it to our table sooner or later and some, like Captain Hook, went above and beyond the time we thought characters would stay at our table. We had extended time with Minnie and Dale also. We were also met by Pooh, Eeyore, and Chip. It was really great!
