Just read on the Disney Visa site that the offer released today to Disney Visa members will be available to general public on May 2nd. Interesting that is regular DDP for moderate resorts. Good luck everyone. We needed something for mid to late August and this promo doesn't start til August 28th, so no use to us, but helpful to most of you September folks.

I got this email too. Interesting that t is the "Memories" package that includes a memory book. Do you pay for the book in addition to the room (rack rate), and park tickets?

Yes, $99.95!!!! That's ridiculous, but we'll save almost $200 so I'd rather have the book and save $200 so it's a go. It will save my parents and grandparents $750 off their room. My mom just got approved for the Visa so we're hoping to book later today under the Visa promo.

O.K. I need some info---do we have to wait until the offer posts on Disney's website for the general public? I already have a reservation--will this give me a better shot at this promotion? And most importantly---the Visa offer is through 9-24---if the general public is the same--my reservation starts on 9-24--can I still book the free dining for my entire trip?

I was going to book the free dining back in Dec but I missed it by 3 days---slipped my mind. I have been waiting for this.

You will have to wait until May 2 and you will get free dining for your entire trip as long as there is still availability at your resort.

The Visa offer wasn't on the website this morning yet but could be booked. Info is that it will be available to the GP on May 2nd whether it's posted on their website or not, so if I were you, I'd call ASAP on May 2nd for the GP offer or today if you have a DV.

As long as you check in on the 24th, you will be able to get the FD for the duration of your stay. I know there is a limit, either 10 or 14 days, can't remember but you would be good checking in on the 24th.

Walt Disney Parks & Resorts announced a new 2011 Memories Vacation Package and is offering FREE dining for Disney Reward Visa Card holders to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida during an introductory four week travel window.

Dates: August 28, 2011 - September 24, 2011
Book Between: April 28, 2011 - August 27, 2011


OFFER: Special Memories Vacation Package with a FREE Disney Dining Plan are available for 08/28/11 - 9/24/11 travel dates. Disney Visa cardholders who book a vacation package at one of Disney's Value Resorts will receive Disney's Quick Service dining plan. Guests who book a vacation package at Disney's Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas resorts will receive Disney's Basic Dining Plan. Guests can also upgrade to other dining plans for an additional cost. This offer can be combined with The Magic for Less Travel's Minnie Pack Deluxe & Grand Pixie Dust Pack offers. Free dining has a 3 night minimum and a 14 day maximum and 2 day base ticket minimum purchase for qualification.

Cannot wait til Monday. Not wishing my weekend away. But even with the photobook it is saving us 268.00 over the kids free promo not bad. So then I will owe a entire 32.00 on my package.

I'm still debating the moderate thing also.
